This program is conducted by Yogesh Patgaonkar. Yogesh has done his master’s degree in HRM from University of Mumbai. In addition to managing complex international HR mandates,  he has managed P&L responsibilities across multiple countries and an entrepreneurial experience under his belt.

Program design

This program is designed to help HR professionals realize their full potential by understanding balance between their roles as business partners and people champions. This program is a combination of group learning as well as individual coaching. Group learning involves dialogues around following critical topics

  • Role of HR as “Credible Activist” as the fulcrum of success
  • Building engaging relationships
  • Prudence of maintaining fairness against business pressure
  • Cost of policies
  • Role of HR in profit optimization without losing sensitivity

These sessions are followed by individual coaching sessions that result in tailor-made plans for HR professionals to be strong business partners.

Methodology

Need assessment is done in dialogue with Head of HR / Business Unit to determine the expectations as well as understand the culture of the organization. The Group learning program is customised based on the needs of the organization. This session is also helpful in establishing “fairness of expectations” especially from business heads.
